  • The Chinese tradition of this “Zhuā Zhōu”, is when your baby reaches 1 year old, you put your baby in front of this set of objects. Your baby will normally choose an object or a few objects. Take note of the object, then remove your baby, and place the toys back at the stash. Now repeat putting your baby in front of the objects again for 2 more times. – The belief is that if they keep taking the same object/s, they are likely to steer in the direction of those said items in life. But again, this is just a game and just like all beliefs.
  • The objects can also be used as a fridge magnet. Some objects that are cylindrical cannot be used as a fridge magnet but can be used as a teether or toy.
